Although this fall season has been a hectic one for North Fork Moto, I think we found some super spooky ways to celebrate the season away from the crowded pumpkin patches and apple orchards of the North Fork. While the crowds help sustain our business, we’re thankful for our rock star staff that allowed us to escape the mayhem and spend some quality time enjoying autumn. Read on for our MUST-DO list of all things FALL.
Although this event was put together at the last minute, we're thankful to all the riders who came out to have a BEAUTIFUL day of exploring the North Fork and making stops at all the farmstands.
And those who use Rever, I was able to share a route that averted most of the North Fork traffic and took riders on all the scenic roads. We had riders come all the way from Nassau County to enjoy the day.
Most people showed up at the cafe around 10am-11am to have some coffee while planning their route. Points were given for each farmstand participants visited (we agreed having that many donuts wouldn't be good for anyone - HAAA) as well as bonus points for pictures posted and tagged on Instagram, and doing the ride in costume.
It was stiff competition, as riders were also competing against people who decided to enjoy the ride in their cage (a.k.a vehicle). Once back at the shop, points were tallied and while everyone gave it their best - our Nassau County native, MS CHILL, brought home the prize as she took full advantage of Instagram points, as well as the points for coming dressed in costume - HAIL, THE MOTO WITCH!
An amazing day was had by all! Looking forward to doing this again next year!
