Welcome to GO WEST — Part III: Places Worth Returning to via the Big Bend BDR-X. In this chapter of our 12-day motorcycle adventure, we return to West Texas to complete the section of the Big Bend BDR-X we missed on our previous trip and revisit some of our favorite places along the way.

Our journey begins on Chispa Road (Section 4)—one of the most remote and under-rated sections of the Big Bend BDR-X. While planning this ride, we found surprisingly little information about current conditions, fuel considerations, Godzilla Hill, and what riders should realistically expect from this 95-mile stretch.
