Wrench and Ride V1.0 took place at the North Fork Moto Garage this past weekend. All our favorite riding friends, old and new, came over to get their bikes tuned up by our fearless leader, Clayton Snyder. Or did they come over for the North Fork Moto coffee, served with frittatas and mimosas? Either way, Clay was able to set up the suspension on a Ducati Supersport, help Dr. Busa and Joe in electrical improvements on a Panigale, adjust the fender eliminator/ license plate set-up for another Panigale (should we just be called the Ducati garage?) review Sue’s CBR and it’s questionable maintenance history, and Megan, the expert moto-gear advisor helped assure Danielle’s gear set-up was solid for this weekend’s upcoming moto-camping trip.
After a few hours in the garage, all TEN of us rode out on the beautiful farm country roads to Orient State Park, at the end of the island, where we stopped for some refreshments and to take some picturesque drone footage. Our ride back to the stable included ALL the indulgences at Bridge Lane Winery where we enjoyed cans of bubbly, donuts from NoFo Donut Company, a cheese plate, and Dr. Busa was even generous enough to treat us all to delicious pizza from Pizza Rita. Lastly, after a few last minute bike swaps, rode to Iron Pier Beach to enjoy the sunset before our final goodbye. I don’t think I’m speaking out of turn to say that everyone had an enjoyable North Fork-type of moto-day! Check out the video below for all the amazing highlights.
P.S. Happy Birthday to Sue! We’re so honored to be a part of your birthday weekend celebration!
